Bucephalandra Brownie Blue
Bucephalandra ‘Brownie Blue’ – Emersed Grown
Bucephalandra ‘Brownie Blue’ is a beautiful variety prized for the blue and teal tones that develop across its foliage, particularly once established under aquarium lighting. Its compact leaves feature gently rippled edges, with darker green tones and subtle metallic highlights adding plenty of depth.
These plants are supplied emersed grown, meaning their current foliage may appear greener than their eventual submerged form. Once introduced underwater, the plant will gradually transition and produce fresh submerged leaves, where its characteristic blue colouration can become much more prominent.
Brownie Blue is an excellent all-round Buce for driftwood, stone and detailed hardscape, offering impressive colour without taking up much space.
