Bucephalandra “Red Theia”

Bucephalandra Red Theia is a striking and highly sought-after variety known for its deep green leaves accented with rich red tones and subtle iridescence under strong aquarium lighting. As the plant matures, the leaves develop beautiful colour contrast, making it a standout feature in any aquascape.

Like most Bucephalandra, Red Theia is a slow-growing rhizome plant that thrives when attached to wood or rock. Its compact growth habit makes it perfect for midground placement or creating dense clusters within a layout.

All specimens are fully submersed grown, ensuring a smooth transition into your aquarium without the melt often associated with emersed-grown plants.

You will receive a trimming similar to the one shown in the first photo, consisting of a healthy rhizome section with multiple leaves. Pieces may arrive with or without roots, but will establish quickly once attached to hardscape.

• CO₂: Not required but recommended for best colouration

• Placement: Attach to wood or rock (do not bury the rhizome)
