Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba', commonly known as HC Cuba or Dwarf Baby Tears, is one of the smallest and most popular carpeting plants in the aquascaping hobby. Featuring incredibly fine, vibrant green leaves, this beautiful species creates a lush, dense carpet across the aquarium substrate.

Perfect for foreground placement, HC Cuba spreads horizontally to form a compact, bright green carpet. Its miniature leaves make it especially popular in Iwagumi and nature-style aquascapes, where it creates a beautiful sense of scale and depth.

While HC Cuba is a little more demanding than other carpeting plants, it rewards stable conditions with stunning growth. Strong lighting, nutrient-rich substrate and CO₂ injection are highly recommended for achieving a healthy, dense carpet.
