Hygrophila Salicifolia

Hygrophila salicifolia

Hygrophila salicifolia is a beautiful and versatile stem plant, recognised for its long, narrow, willow-like leaves and vibrant green colouration. Its elegant foliage creates a natural, flowing appearance, making it an excellent choice for adding height, texture and movement to planted aquariums.

This hardy, fast-growing species is relatively easy to maintain, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced aquascapers. Under good lighting and nutrient-rich conditions, Hygrophila salicifolia develops lush, dense growth that can be regularly trimmed and propagated.

Its slender leaves make it particularly attractive in the midground or background, where it provides a softer, more natural appearance compared to broader-leaved stem plants.
