Extremely Rare Nymphaea sp. 'Peru Puerto Maldonado"
Nymphaea ‘Peru’ – Extremely Rare
Nymphaea ‘Peru’ is an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after aquatic lily, prized for its distinctive rounded foliage and beautiful colouration. As the plant matures, the leaves can develop striking green, bronze and reddish tones with prominent contrasting venation, creating a truly unique feature in the aquarium.
This is a genuine collector’s plant and an opportunity to secure a Nymphaea that is very rarely available within the Australian aquarium hobby.
The first photo shows the exact plant you will receive. The second photo is provided as an example of the appearance and colouration a mature, established specimen can develop under suitable growing conditions.
Like other Nymphaea, ‘Peru’ appreciates good lighting, a nutrient-rich substrate and consistent fertilisation. CO₂ supplementation is recommended for the strongest growth and colouration.
Please note: This listing is for the exact plant pictured in the first image – one only available. Due to the rarity of this plant, availability is extremely limited.
