Sagittaria Subulata pot
Sagittaria Subulata – Potted
Sagittaria subulata, commonly known as Dwarf Sagittaria, is a hardy, easy-to-grow aquarium plant featuring vibrant green, grass-like leaves. Its ability to spread naturally through runners makes it an excellent choice for creating a lush, grassy carpet or filling out foreground and midground areas.
This adaptable species thrives in a wide range of aquarium conditions, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced aquascapers. CO₂ injection is not required, although additional CO₂ and stronger lighting can encourage faster, denser growth.
Once established, Sagittaria subulata produces runners that develop into new plants, gradually spreading throughout the aquarium. Its height can vary depending on lighting, nutrients and growing conditions, making it suitable for a variety of aquascaping styles.
