Alternanthera rosaefolia is a beautiful and popular stem plant prized for its bold red, pink and deep burgundy foliage. Its broad leaves provide excellent contrast against green plants and add an instant splash of colour to any planted aquarium.

Under stronger lighting and with good nutrient availability, the plant develops increasingly intense red and pink colouration. CO₂ supplementation will encourage faster, healthier growth and help produce a dense, vibrant appearance.
