Bucephalandra ‘Helena’

Bucephalandra Helena is a beautiful collector variety known for its rounded green foliage and striking blue to turquoise iridescence. Under aquarium lighting, the leaves can develop an incredible metallic blue sheen that shifts depending on the viewing angle, making Helena particularly eye-catching amongst darker Buce varieties.

These plants are supplied emersed grown and will gradually transition to their submerged form once introduced to the aquarium. Some older emersed foliage may deteriorate during this transition as fresh submerged leaves develop.

Like other Bucephalandra, Helena is a slow-growing rhizome plant best attached to rock or driftwood with the rhizome kept exposed.
