Bucephalandra ‘Melon’

Bucephalandra Melon is an attractive variety featuring rounded, oval foliage and a clean, compact growth habit. Its smooth green leaves give it a noticeably different appearance from the narrower, heavily waved forms commonly seen in Bucephalandra, making it a great addition to a mixed Buce collection.

These plants are supplied emersed grown and will gradually transition to their submerged form once introduced to the aquarium. Some older emersed leaves may deteriorate or melt during this transition while fresh submerged foliage develops.

Like all Bucephalandra, Melon is a slow-growing rhizome plant and is best attached to rock or driftwood with the rhizome kept above the substrate.
