A stunning red-toned form of Cryptocoryne balansae, featuring long, narrow leaves with the distinctive heavily textured, rippled appearance that makes this species so recognisable.

Under good lighting and nutrition, the foliage can develop beautiful bronze, deep red and reddish-brown tones, creating an incredible contrast against bright green plants. Its long flowing leaves make it particularly suited to the background of medium to large aquariums.

Once established, Cryptocoryne balansae is hardy and relatively undemanding, gradually spreading through runners to form impressive stands.
